An independent desk, not Springbok
Springbok Casino does not own, write, edit or approve this site. We are paid through an affiliate link when readers open an account, which our earnings page sets out in full. The Springbok logo and game art appear because they identify the games we write about; the words, the order of the timeline and the choice of what to leave out are ours.
We publish as Reel Gazette rather than under personal bylines. Nobody here is presented as an expert player, and no page claims that we deposited, spun or won anything. What we can offer is a careful read of public pages, done the same way every time.
How a release is checked
From lobby tile to release card
- Read the lobby's New Games tab and record the order of the titles, each game's release-date field and the day we looked.
- Copy the tile's own specs: reels, lines or ways, volatility and named features. These carry a green "Lobby" label.
- Read Springbok's preview, review or press release for the same game. Figures that appear only there, usually RTP, hit rate and top award, carry an amber "Springbok says" label.
- Compare the two. Where Springbok's pages disagree, the release card says so or leaves the figure out rather than picking the friendlier number.
- Store every figure once, with its source address and check date, in a shared register. When the register changes, every page that uses the figure changes on the next build.
A game Springbok has announced but its lobby does not yet show gets a dated entry with an amber date block and a "From" stamp. Its release notes stay unpublished until the announced day, and even then the card keeps saying the lobby had not shown it when we last looked, until a fresh read confirms it.
What you will not find here
- Scores, star ratings, verdict numbers or "best slot" rankings. A release card describes a game; it does not grade it.
- Live jackpot amounts or winner stories. Springbok's tickers move by the minute, and a figure we copied would be wrong before you read it.
- Claims that we played, deposited or cashed out, and quotes from players we never met.
- Countdown clocks, "last chance" banners or anything else that tries to rush a decision.
- Any suggestion that a new game pays better than an old one, or that a feature is "due".
Reading the dates and labels
The "Last checked" line on each page is the day the facts behind it were read, which is not always the day the page was last edited. Release dates are the lobby's own field. A "From" stamp marks a date Springbok has announced, and "New this month" marks a release dated in the current calendar month.
On the front page the release timeline runs newest first and the release calendar marks launch days in gold. Both are generated from the same register as the release cards, so they cannot drift apart.
Corrections
If a date, a spec or a link is wrong, email hello@springbokcasino.co with the page and what you saw. We check it against Springbok's pages, fix the register and move the "Last checked" date. We do not answer account questions; those belong with Springbok's own support team.

Last checked 9 October 2026. Each link opens the page the figure was read from; we summarise in our own words rather than copy.
